Asus ROG Phone 2: Specifications and Features To recall, the ROG Phone 2 made its debut in China back in July 2019 with high-end specs on board. The gaming phone from Asus packs a 6.59-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display on the front with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and HDR 10 support. Both the front and back glass panels are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6. The ROG Phone 2’ screen has a 120Hz refresh rate and it’s said to offer 49ms touch latency. Under the hood, the ROG Phone 2 has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset, clubbed with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.0 internal storage. The phone has two USB Type-C ports- one on the bottom and the other one on the left side to provide hassle-free gaming experience. The ROG Phone 2 has just two cameras on the rear side- a primary Sony IMX586 sensor coupled with a 13MP wide-angle shooter. On the front, the phone has a 24MP shooter for selfies and video calls. The phone also has stereo speakers to provide excellent audio performance. Another highlight of the Asus ROG Phone 2 is its massive 6000mAh battery which will allow users to have uninterrupted gaming sessions. The Asus ROG Phone 2 may launch in multiple variants in India with up to 1TB of storage as this variant was unveiled at the IFA 2019 tech show in Berlin.
